For rent - 4 Stroke Post Hole Digger

Melbourne (Pascoe Vale)

Prior to hiring you might think about whether you need to phone/email 'dial before you dig' and what size auger you need. I have from 100 to 300 but this machine will do up to 200 comfortable, 250 with a struggle and you are best to hire the 1/2 person machine for 300. Most people have had great success with digging their holes. If you hit a rock or a root, you need to stop and dig them out. Use water on heavy clays - lots of water. You might also find some instructive videos on youtube.

  • Paul explained how to use the machine and accommodated my request to use multiple sized auger bits and the extension. The handle and trigger might need some maintenance as it seemed a bit sloppy and I had to carry out my own repairs mid use.
Paul preferred to loan me his pre mixed two stroke fuel which saved me from having to buy my own which was great. Thanks Paul.

In this fast paced world, we know that some people like to plan ahead.
